Upon arriving at the levee (a mere 5 minutes from my domestic location), I got to park in a handy parking garage that makes up the basement on the levee complex. An elevator takes me up to the riverwalk level where I instantly become surrounded by people, lights and amazing sounds and smells. It reminds my of on the Waterfront but 100 times better (all my Wisconsinites know what I am talking about...). The view from the levee along the river looking into Cincinnati is completely majestic. Upon a victory fromt the Cincinnati Reds baseball team, an encore of red and silver fireworks light up the sky over the river. This day just happened to be a motorcycle rally as well, so the road alongside the river next to the live concert series was filled to capacity with Harly's, Honda's, and other shiny toys.
I also tried somehting new while I was in Newport. Upon our wanderings, I found an oxygen bar (um hmmm, you heard me right.), these bars use a unique "nose hose" that supplies allows you to breathe pure 92% oxygen and a soothing aroma that you inhale. It was freaking awesome!
The girls and I also hit up a Johnny Rockets, it was kinda like a steak and shake. I had already eaten dinner so I settled for an amazing Hot fudge sundae (don;t worry, I ran extra today to make up for it...), they even give you hot fudge on the side (most places are always stingy on the hot fudge - Oh, and real whipped cream, when i can't have sex I will take one of those sundaes anyday!). Our server was pretty sweet and we visited with him, Josh, for a while. He was almost a drop dead look alike for Orlando Bloom - Hottie! - and totally sweet.

So, full, cheery, and enjoying the summer eve we packed it in to the AMC theater for a flic. I had seen the show already, but my comrades hadn't. It was good. I have already made plans to go back next weekend. There is a huge shark exhibit at the aquarium and it sounds amazing. It is also Latin night -- some hottie Latino dancers are going to teach a herd of us white chicks who can't dance some moves and then we get to dance the night away, on the leveee, with the lights and the water. I hope the Reds win too -- more fireworks would be great!
