Last night I was greeted with a GIGANTIC bouquet of Fresh White ROSES!!
Let me just tell all my blog readers....I NEVER get flowers..EVER!! I love men that splurge on Roses, or Daffodils, or Daisies, or any other member of the flower family.
While I am not a fan of the "get into an arguement so that I can reap in the benefits of flowers and make-up sex" I will totally enjoy either of them when they do occur.
Yesterday was coming up roses!!

It's Official, I'm A City Girl!
Today I made a purchase I never thought I would see myself doing...I purchased tickets for a baseball team! Not just any baseball team, but the Cincinnati Reds Baseball team...and as a new Ohio girl, I guess they must be the team I get to cheer for right?
I purchased 2 tickets in a set of ten! I get to see the Red's face off in the season opener and in three series that include the Chicago Cubs...woohoo!
I guess this means I better get some red and whie apparel eh? I would hate to appear un-ohio-ish in any other color than red and white.
Apparently this big country girl is getting a cityfied make over....now if only those last 20 pounds would just remove themselves my ass...all would be great!

Who'd Have Thought....
Dear Blog,
I apologise that I have not written. I understnd that I was having one of those days when I promised to write more often...fearful in Ohio kind of day I guess. I had every intention of writing nearly everyday as I used to but the past month has been busy, stressful, new, adventureous, and absolutely amazing! For that, I am sorry.
In the past month I have been so busy learning a new skill and trade. I am an EEG technician and place metal electrodes strategically all over children's heads. (Yep, even the ones that bite, kick, scream, cry, and are only a mere few months old...scary, I know!) Let me tell you, all those squiggly lines that are supposed to represent brain activity actually are meaning something to me by now, I caught my first seizure activity today, YAY ME!! I totally LOVE my co-workers and am enjoying the diversity in our crowd....Russian, Australian, Old and Crabby, New and Optimistic..we are a great bunch!
I moved...again, kinda scary but I LOVE my apartment complex and the others that live there as well. We are a fun and diverse group of young people! My dog from home truly did hate it here in the big city and made his adventure back home without too much trauma. He now enjoys his days tearing up mama's couch with his little partner in crime. He has recently been replaced by a poor little foo-foo dog who was in dire need of affection, a routine, and a comb....a bischon frise. I never thought I would ever own a foo-foo dog, but this little guy is just so ugly that he is adorable. He was so matted that he was completely shaved and at a little over a year old was so neglected that he still had his nuts intact...well, not anymore. Hopefully, his little man "I gotta mark that" attitude will exit right along with his testicles.
And then there is the boy...yep, you heard me... BOY! I never imagined I would meet a guy in the big city, or at the first day of my new job. But when his big blue eyes looked at me and asked me out right after a sexual harassment lecture how could I turn him down? Needless to say, the past month has been even more amazing than the beginning of it. I finally have a partner in crime to watch football with, talk sports and outdoors with, cook me dinner, and just plain ole' enjoy life with.
I am pretty sure that the new year, new job, new life could not be any more amazing unless I could get me pony down here ASAP, followed by a raise.... but who wouldn't want that!
Ok, Ok, blog... I will write more... I am feeling inspired and am ready to continue on my blogging journey!
